Dear Colleagues, On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is our great pleasure to invite you to the 3rd International Conference on Ascites, to be held on April 12-13, 2025, organized by the Punjab Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences under the aegis of the International Club of Ascites, Indian National Association for Study of the Liver, and the Society for the Study of Liver Diseases.
Punjab Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences, Mohali (PILBS) is an academic hospital and research institute dedicated to hepatobiliary and pancreatic sciences, with state-of-the-art facilities to cater to complex populations, provide comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic facilities, interdisciplinary care, and advanced clinical and translational research is the aim of this Institute.
Ascites remains a significant challenge in the daily practice of hepatologists and gastroenterologists worldwide. With substantial advancements in the diagnosis and treatment of ascites, its complications, and Acute Kidney Injury, there is a growing need to share insights and foster collaborations. Building on the resounding success of the 2nd International Conference on Ascites, this year’s event aims to provide an enriching platform to enhance our understanding, improve patient care, stimulate research, and initiate impactful multicentric studies.
